Children’s Privacy Notice
CEAIH is designed to support education while giving schools, parents, guardians, and authorized educators meaningful control over children’s information and participation.
1. How children may use CEAIH
- Through a school, ministry, district, teacher, or other educational authority.
- Through a parent or guardian account.
- Through an individual student plan where age and applicable law permit.
- Through a supervised pilot, program, class, or organization.
2. Information about children
Depending on the service, CEAIH may process a child’s name, username, school, class, grade level, assignments, assessments, attendance, learning progress, teacher feedback, accommodations, communications, AI tutor activity, uploaded work, and technical data.
CEAIH seeks to collect only information reasonably necessary for the educational and operational purpose.
3. School-authorized use
When a school or educational authority authorizes CEAIH, it may provide consent or authorization on behalf of parents where permitted by law and solely for an educational purpose. The school remains responsible for notices, permissions, account administration, and appropriate use within its legal authority.
4. Parent and guardian controls
- Review or request correction of a child’s information, subject to school-record rules.
- Manage communication and guardian-control settings where available.
- Withdraw consent for optional processing.
- Request deletion where legally and contractually available.
- Ask what information is collected and how it is used or disclosed.
5. Advertising and commercialization
CEAIH does not sell children's personal information. CEAIH does not use student education records for behavioral or targeted advertising.
6. AI and student safety
AI tools are designed to support learning, not replace teachers, parents, counselors, or qualified professionals. CEAIH may use moderation, filters, audit records, and role-based controls to reduce harmful or inappropriate use.
Students should not share highly sensitive personal information with an AI tool unless specifically directed through an authorized educational workflow.
7. Disclosure
Children’s information may be visible to authorized teachers, parents, guardians, school administrators, or government education officials according to roles, permissions, and law. CEAIH may use service providers necessary to deliver the platform under appropriate restrictions.
8. Retention and deletion
Children’s information is retained only as reasonably necessary for education, organization records, safety, legal obligations, and the applicable agreement. Schools may have independent legal retention duties.
9. Contact and requests
Parents and guardians may submit a request through the CEAIH website. When a school controls the record, CEAIH may direct the request to that school for verification and response.
